Domaine Wardy Obeidi White 2022

Domaine Wardy Obeidi is an exceptional single-varietal white wine made from one of Lebanon's oldest indigenous grape varieties. Sourced from mature vineyards surrounding Zahle at an elevation of 1,200 metres, this remarkable wine pays tribute to Lebanon's rich winemaking heritage while showcasing the remarkable ageing potential of Obeidi. Matured for 13 months in French oak barrels, it offers impressive complexity and elegance.

Its refined bouquet reveals aromas of quince, white plum, marzipan, orange peel, orange blossom and ginger. Fresh citrus notes emerge beautifully on the palate, supported by a silky, waxy texture and a long, persistent finish. The careful oak maturation enhances depth without overpowering the wine's natural freshness, resulting in a distinctive and memorable expression of Lebanese terroir.

Serve chilled at 10–12°C. It pairs exceptionally well with Moghrabieh, roasted poultry, creamy seafood dishes, warm Middle Eastern spices and mature cheeses.
