Founded in Batroun, Sept Winery is part of Lebanon's new wave of artisan winemakers dedicated to expressing the identity of Lebanon's vineyards through minimal-intervention winemaking.
Every wine begins in carefully selected mountain vineyards before being vinified with respect for nature. Sept follows a philosophy of spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts, minimal intervention, no additives, and unfiltered bottling whenever possible, allowing each vineyard and vintage to express its own personality.
Working with both indigenous Lebanese grapes such as Obeideh and international varieties including Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo, Sept creates elegant wines that combine freshness, purity and a strong sense of place.
The winery's name reflects its philosophy: "Un Vin de Lieu"—a wine that tells the story of its land. Every bottle is produced in small quantities, expressing Lebanon's unique mountain terroirs from the Bekaa Valley to the Eastern Highlands.
