Domaine Des Tourelles

Established in 1868 by Frenchman François-Eugène Brun, Domaine des Tourelles is one of the earliest wineries in Lebanon and the Levant. The vineyard is located in the Bekaa Valley and is built in the style of vernacular Lebanese houses.
The vineyards are about 1050 meters above sea level, making them among the highest in the northern hemisphere. The dry climate in the region and the sunshine allows the grapes to ripen organically almost without the use of pesticides.  Today, the winery follows a purely organic approach.

The winery focuses on bringing out the uniqueness of the region's terroir: the dry iron, gravel and limestone soils and the meltwater from the surrounding mountains as an indispensable source of water.
