Domaine Wardy Cinsault 2021

Domaine Wardy Cinsault is an elegant expression of one of Lebanon's most historic grape varieties. Produced from handpicked grapes grown in the Central Bekaa, this award-winning single-varietal wine highlights the freshness, vibrant fruit and spicy character that have made Cinsault a cornerstone of Lebanese winemaking. Forty percent of the wine is matured for 12 months in second-use French oak barrels, adding subtle complexity while allowing the fruit to remain at the forefront.

The nose is dominated by strawberry, cherry and pomegranate, layered with black pepper, thyme, mint and orange peel. On the palate, the wine is fresh and fruit-driven with lively acidity, firm tannins and excellent structure, leading to a long, balanced finish. Its vibrant personality makes it equally enjoyable for everyday dining or special occasions.

Serve at 15–17°C with grilled chicken, roasted vegetables, charcuterie, mushroom dishes, tomato-based pasta, soft cheeses or a traditional Lebanese mezze selection.
