Arak Bechara Balaban is an unusual name among Lebanese arak connoisseurs. This arak was already produced in Ferzol in the early eighteenth century by one of the most famous arak producers, Bechara Balaban.
We are proud of our roots, and our bottle is the result of patience, dedication and expertise passed down through the fifth generation. Today, we honor this great heritage by preserving the know-how and quality of making the finest Arak Balaban that will seduce you with every sip.
Arak Bechara Balaban (Maatak) is triple distilled from grapes and green Levantine anise. It is then aged in clay barrels for 6 months and plate filtered to ensure a unique, smooth taste. Our arak is produced
Our arak is made according to the ancestral traditions that have preserved the balance between anise and alcohol flavors. Drinking our arak gives an exceptional feeling without unwanted effects (headache, dry mouth...).
