Beautifully presented, dark color with purple hues. Smells, elegantly and fine, with aromas of black fruits, white pepper, and mineral notes. With fresh and pleasant palate, with melted tannins and good acidity. The finish is long and persistent on spicy notes with a chalky touch.

History: Syria and Wine: Quoted by Pliny the Elder, Mount Bargylus, known today as Jebel Al-Ansariye, stretches from the Orontes valley near the ancient city of Antioch to the Eleuthera valley south of ancient Emesa. Located in the hinterland of the present-day city of Latakia in Syria and the Canaanite metropolis of Ugarit, the slopes of Mount Bargylus were richly covered with vines in Greco-Roman times.
